From a single studio in India to projects across China, Africa and Canada, Adorre has spent fifteen years turning empty shells into spaces people never want to leave. Led by Faisal Tanwar, our design consultation practice takes a project from first sketch to final styling, sourcing, specifying and supervising every decision so you don’t have to.
Our Philosophy
Good design is not decoration. It is the quiet architecture of how a space makes you feel the moment you walk in. At Adorre, we believe every project, a family home, a corporate headquarters, a boutique hotel, deserves the same discipline: a considered mix of proportion, material honesty and restrained luxury, drawn from a global palette of influences and grounded in local craft.
Faisal Tanwar founded the practice fifteen years ago with a simple conviction: clients shouldn’t have to choose between a designer who dreams big and one who manages the details. Today, that philosophy has carried the studio from Mumbai to Shanghai, from Jaipur’s palace courtyards to Lagos’s new skyline, with an end-to-end model that covers concept, sourcing, execution and styling under one roof.
What We Do
We manage the complete design journey so our clients experience none of its friction:
- Concept & Spatial Planning, layout, flow, and design language development
- Material & Product Selection, furniture, lighting, finishes, art and artefacts, curated (often through our own Sourcing division)
- Vendor & Site Coordination, managing contractors, artisans and timelines
- Styling & Handover, the final layer of soft furnishing, art placement and finishing detail that makes a space feel complete
Residential
Homes are the most personal briefs we receive, and the ones we protect most fiercely. Our residential portfolio spans sprawling family villas, sea-facing apartments and heritage restorations.

The Amrapali Residence, Mumbai
A 6,000 sq. ft. sea-facing duplex where Art Deco geometry meets a soft, contemporary palette. Custom brass inlay work and a curated art wall anchor the living spaces.
Villa Meraki, Jaipur
A modern haveli set within a working courtyard, reinterpreting Rajasthani jaali screens and sandstone in a restrained, present-day material language.
The Jade Pavilion, Shanghai
A high-rise penthouse where Bauhaus minimalism is layered with hand-selected Chinese lacquerware and silk textiles, designed for a client relocating between two continents.

The Onyx Boardroom, Bangalore
A 40,000 sq. ft. tech headquarters where dark stone, brass detailing and biophilic elements were used to signal both authority and calm.
Meridian Business Tower Lobby, Mumbai
A statement arrival experience for a commercial high-rise, built around a sculptural chandelier installation and book-matched marble flooring.
The Silk Exchange, Shanghai
A flagship retail store for a luxury textile brand, blending minimalist Bauhaus display fixtures with traditional Chinese motifs.
