Adorre was built by two people who see design differently and complete each other because of it, Faisal Tanwar, who leads with fifteen years of design and consultation expertise, and Meher Tanwar, who built a 30-category sourcing engine from the ground up. Together, they run a company that spans design consultation, sourcing, training and e-commerce, across India, China, Africa and Canada.
Our Story
Adorre began fifteen years ago as a small design consultation practice in India. What started as a single studio taking on residential projects in Mumbai has, over a decade and a half, grown into a full-spectrum design house, one that designs spaces, sources the materials that build them, trains the next generation of designers to create them, and now, brings curated home decor directly to customers through e-commerce.
That growth was never accidental. It was built by two partners who divided the vision between them and never let go of the shared standard both insisted on: nothing leaves Adorre unless it’s beautiful, considered, and built to last.
Faisal Tanwar, Founder & Design Director
With fifteen years of experience across residential, commercial and hospitality design, Faisal Tanwar has led Adorre from its first project in Mumbai to a portfolio that now spans India, China, Africa and Canada. He leads the company’s Design Consultation practice end to end, from concept to handover, and personally heads the Training Programme, mentoring the next generation of designers through immersive, hands-on courses held in China.
Faisal’s design philosophy is rooted in restraint: the belief that true luxury lies in proportion, material honesty and the discipline to know when a space is finished.
Meher Tanwar, Partner & Sourcing Director
Meher Tanwar built Adorre’s Sourcing division from the ground up, a network now spanning 30 categories, from furniture and lighting to building materials, wood panelling, tile, paint and beyond. Beyond raw materials, Meher personally curates the artefacts and decorative pieces that give every Adorre project its final, unmistakable layer of character.
Under Meher’s leadership, the sourcing business has become a driving force behind Adorre’s growing international visibility, connecting designers, architects and clients worldwide to a vetted, global supply network they can trust.
